Description

Some more of my trueSpace 6.6 models converted for use in Vue. Lighthouse is based on Cape Reinga Light at northernmost point of New Zealand, my trusty old truck and the Wizard and SpaceWitch characters have been seen before. The terrains, roads and seagulls were built in trueSpace for this scene. The two characters at the extreme left come supplied with Vue 5 Esprit. The Frnech Warship is the well known one from Cornucopia.com. What do you think?

I think it's absolutely fantastic! Looks like TrueSpac e does very well in Vue - of course, it does help for it to be in the hands of a master. ;) Excellent work, my friend!

Thanks Judee - actually Vue is helping me to get closer to being a master. One of trueSpaces greatest strengths is also a bit of a weakness - tS is VERY forgiving of poorly modelled geometry whereas Vue demands high quality meshes - I've had to do a lot of tidying up of my models and textures to get them to work with Vue - still, I'm slowly getting there! Frogster, thanks for the kind words - it means something coming from a talented artist such as yourself - though I've got to say the smoking baby is one of the most comicly disturbing avatars I've seen for a while!!

Excellant work indeed. The detail in the lighthouse, ship and cars are great. The two standard characters dont go too well with the high res posers on the right which by the way are brilliant. Try better with the sea next time but all in all a superb image. Great work WZRD!
