Description
The Battle of Fia and Cael; The time has come.
The night had drawn in, stormy and wild. The waves crashing against the rocks surrounding the camp; winds howling against tents and makeshift shelters. They were on their road to salvation, to safety; to sanctuary when they heard the unmistakable noise of wings. Huge, heavy, loud dragon wings, the sound of destruction.
Fia stared up at the sky, watching the beasts loom ever closer. Her heart beat loudly in her chest, as if trying to break free. The fear ran down her spine, chilling her very soul as she spied the darkest dragon of them all. The Elder, Lord Cael. She had long been involved in a mind battle with the beast; He taunting her, evil, depraved, brutal and sometimes seductive mind games. She battling like the warrior she was brought up to be, fighting off his advances.
She had known in her heart, and the time was nigh
