Description
First outing on Renderosity for a shot taken with my new 30D. This was with the 70-300mm sigma lens which came with the camera i recently purchased from ebay of some irishman :)
I am rather amazed at the distance i can be from the subject to get this. Its a 1:2 magnification on 300mm and focuses at a little over 1.2 metres which, having used the 105mm prime macro lens, is a bit of a shock (i learn all the time). It wasnt on a tripod - it was actually put on my raised knee as i was lying on the sofa with my girlfriend at the other. she was reading - i was playing around with my new toy.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and reading this crap / taking a look at my shot.
