Description
The Henschel Hs 293 guided missile enjoyed a fair measure of success against shipping targets.Bad weather prevented much success in the N.Atlantic but attacks in the Mediterranean area worked well until 26th.November 1943 when II/KG lost half their aircraft in an attack on a convoy off the Algerian coast.The Hs 293 was radio guided,had an explosive head containing 649lbs.and had a range of up to 11 miles with a max speed of 560 mph.

Two interesting varients of the Dornier bomber, both reasonable successful ones if I remember correctly - not without flaws but they were very workman-like designs.
