woohoo. I've worked on this and ridden on it (as "payment") . . . twice. It's not particularly original (only one of three original power turrets on board, for instance) but it's still an exciting, SHAKING/RATTLING old beast. Owned/operated by the EAA.

I watched "Twelve O'clock High" yesterday on cable. I had never really seen the view of the navigator and bombardier so clearly in the nose before. I also gawked at the split flaps as the crippled ship landed. I had been blinded by the Wright Cyclones all my life. Finally, I saw the light.
