Welcome to New Tokyo Gina Mariko Ishail was born in New Tokyo in 2148. The city itself was overly crowded but her family lived in the upper towers. Her mother, Nariko , a highly regarded aerospace engineer, was working on the new space propulsion system for the new Gamma Class Spaceliners that would begin to fairy millions of Prime Earthers to Alpha and Omega. Her status alone gave her mother the wealth and prestige to have three children which was two over the state mandated one. The children's fathers were all unknown to the children themselves, but Niriko has chosen them based on their genetic stability. As Mariko grew to adulthood, she exhibited amazing reflexes and speed. Her agility alone allowed her to sneak up people unaware, and allowed her to master the art of gymnastics. By the age of 13, she had won numerous metal worldwide for her talent. Unknown to her fans, she was took after her mother in her genius as she had graduated from the required educational classes at the same age. Mariko's life changed when she entered a specialized school for engineering. She discovered her love of science, and the exciting but dangerous sport called Circuit. She joined the college�s team as a runner. A runner is an individual who is allowed to carry the ball any distance without penalty. No other player on the field is allowed to do this. The game developed over a hundred years of development incorporated the ancient rules of soccer, American Football, Rugby, and Roller derby. With advances in science, the rollerblades were replaced with hover boards. The rugby sticks were replaced with force bats. The rules for soccer and American football were meshed together becoming more like Aztec Battleball. The ball became a robotic construct that avoided players at all cost, but once caught had to be shoved into one of three impressions on the opposite teams wall. Mariko discovered she had a talent for the game and a recruiter watched from Irkon Corporations watched her play. He immediately offered her a position on the corporate team offering her more money than she would ever see as a scientist working for some corporation. By the time she was 16, she was famous. She played for five years until an injury caused her to give up the sport. Not wanting to loss a valuable asset, Irkon offered Mariko a position in the information retrieval department. The position offered a good pay, and the ability to travel to anywhere on Prime Earth, Alpha, Omega, and other destinations unknown. She took the job missing the excitement of the Circuit game. Currently, Mariko goes by Gina Shimada, she is a corporate spy. Her cover is usually as a shuttle pilot or Aerospace Engineer which is highly competent in both. She is reluctant to kill, but if forced she will. The spy game is just another game to her.
