Point out Therese, when in my comments on ' PYRAMIDES' of my Etude series, I said that a face appeared in the bottom of my engraving, and that it was can be a sign of Pharaon, as Ra wire, which gave me its agreement... few people believed me. Therese, which appears comes from your major heart, your engravings, are always an expression of your heart. Here you are serious and you realize that you always think of the evil that you could make... the redemption cannot exist that if there were fault... you are perhaps too hard with you, and the sign appears... is not mistaken in victim... you should not be your clean vicitme of your faults. God will provide for your forgiveness, since you the Faith has.

you should try Apophysis if you're looking for evil images, I have found tons of scary stuff with that program.

Beautiful COLORS and design! When I first saw this, I thought it looked like one of those tiny, Martians from outer space. But, what do I know? I get the gist of what your saying, I alway felt strongly that we perceive around us what we want, based on what we know, love, fear and feel at that any one given moment. Well, Therese, this is a strange one. As I look at it, I wonder why you perceive it as evil, rather than an incomplete face, or possibly an alien. Different, yes, but evil - maybe or maybe not. Certainly it is a well-crafted and provocative image. It seems to me the image is what it is; that it is we who bring our experiences, baggage, prejudices and preferences to interpreting it as its shapes, forms, colors and nuances register on both our concious and unconscious minds and evoke relationships with memories and experiences and the emotions we have stored with them. Much of fractal art seems to bare relationship to colored ink blot tests, the changes in colors, textures, shapes, etc. evoking different responses - in brief, more what we bring to the party than what was inherently already there. Change one thing about the image, even the orientation, and you may find a totally different interpretation (or feeling about it). To me, this is the very essence of true Fractal Art and what IMHO makes your image such a fine and interesting example.

I have had a few of those creepy faces in some of my fractals before and they can be somewhat frightening. It does not mean you are evil or that your thoughts are. I find it to be very creepy, but yet at the same time a very unique and thought provoking image. It looks like it is trying to communicate to those who look at it. I tend to agree it looks more like an alien. The image is bold and fancinating! I do have to agree with Rngoerner is that if it makes you feel uneasy, try putting it into a different orientation. It is still fantastic work and I do agree with what you said. I believe you have worked something out in the mean time. Maybe that is why you found it.

I love these colours and I don't see anything evil about it. I love finding these faces as I think they are different.
