I have been photographing women, landscapes, and points of historical interest for the past 30 years. As an all-American guy, my favorite subjects have been all-American girls. The women I have photographed are the proverbial "girl next door." They are brides, moms, co-workers, relatives and friends. Some pictures are old, some are newer, but I hope you enjoy all the pictures of these wonderful ladies. BTW: I'll even throw in a landscape or something historical.

Another great lady you have captured! I wonder, did she parttake of any active service?

"Razorback" was a term specifically for the P-47 (the spine behind this canopy is rather "sharp") and actually wasn't applied to other contemporary "fastback" aircraft (just a general note). This is a great shot of a nice plane. Special mention goes to the P-63 and the (no-more) B-26. Can't see much of the Mustang (no loss). Good question about service history, it was made as a "G" (just a "D" built by Curtiss) s.n. 42-25068 and used as a stateside trainer.

Leave it to chuter. The man is an encyclopedia. I wasn't even aware Curtiss built Thunderbolts. (Shouldn't be surprised as WWII U.S. aircraft companies frequently manufactured another company's design. At least the USAAF kept the same basic designations like P-47 no matter who built it. The US Navy kept the same nicknames, but had different letter/number codes for each manufacturer. Think I'll post a pic of a Goodyear built "Corsair" to prove my point.) I'll dig out the pics of the B-26 and P-63 and post them in the future! The Mustang is in my gallery.

One of, if not the most heavily armed fighters of WWII. Nice shot.
