Ok, so this is not the best dragonfly shot in the world, but it is my first dragonfly capture. So I just had to share. Thanks for viewing and comments!

It may not be the best but it is not bad. I like it, good focus on the critter and an interesting one this is with those patched wing colors. Thanks for sharing. No one said dragonflies are easy shots...they generally are not so easy.

hahaha..... these bad boys don't hang around that long in one place huh? a fraction of a second and there gone. I think this is a four spotted skimmer, although I'm just getting into bug shots. I've had much better success shooting dragonfly in the early morning, I find them basking in the sunlight on leaves. Later on in the day they seem to be way more active and move too quick for me LOL. Great shot!!!
