Shieldmaiden of Rohan
Two problems I sincerely hope someone can help me with. First.. on the cubes (rock face) closest in the above view there are lots of black lines. I have no idea how to make them go away..adjusting the bump strength doesn't work and I'm all out of ideas. Any suggestions from you who are much more familiar with VI than I am?
A couple of people have expressed an interest in the clothing and other textures I have made for the Poser characters. I put a lot of work into them and would love for those who like them to use them as well.. so free stuff right? Hence problem number two. I changed my ISP and canNOT figure out how to upload files that others may get to for downloading. I upload.. go to the url, and am asked for my password. Obviously that isn't gonna work for free stuff. I have Earthlink..anyone familiar with how to go about that kind of uploads puleeeese help me out?
Alrighty then.. that's it for now.. I have other problems but those I'll keep to myself (lol)

Those lines look like a rendering glitch, that may be one to send to e-on support to ask about. But the artwork is beautiful. The only little crit is that her hair may be a bit white. A little more color would match better. But I think the facial likeness is good. :-)

Eowyn really stands out in the movie, a good choice for your LOTR series. I wondered if the noise in the texture is coming from a second component, is this a combination of two or more materials? If it's a photographic texture, are they perhaps JPEG artifacts from a highly compressed source image? I upload my stuff via FTP and for various technical reasons, using my Windows machine rather than the Mac. You might need to look for FTP articles on the ISP support site and see where that takes you. For my money, I'd like to see a closer composition so we can see more of the character. Nice work, especially the textures.

Great POV and wonderful likeness she looks very noble. I've had similar lines on some of my renders no so prominent though, I cured it in two ways, increase the quality of the light setting to none (not - or +) which of course increases the render time dreadfully, or turn off indirect sunlighting, presuming your settings are like this, but also the texture looks fairly lo-res or currupt, I'd be tempted to exchange it for any other one and see if that helps first, I hope this helps.
