Description

....just on demand! pakled, me109 and prutzworks were asking for a different pov of the "megacity" terrain as seen in my previous posting: "megacity" I also altered the atmo and surfaces a bit. I think from this pov it is even more obvious that this is real bad architecture. ;-) But here we go! To satisfy some other curious questions: 1. A larger version of "megacity" can now be found [here] It's resized to 3000x2250 px and compressed to .jpg 90% (6,4 MB) Though the crop of it (the second 'final' version) is not much bigger than in "megacity", sorry I told something wrong. 2. The World Machine file for this terrain and a new "city macro" can be downloaded from my site: [www.joshushund.com, download section] Thanks a lot for your interest and your kind comments! :-)

Awesome!!! I like this POV better; was the overlay done using a strata map with those colors?

OOOOOooooooooo!!! This IS so much cooler then the first .. the new lighting and the slight angle make this megalopolis even more of an urban wilderness!

Had to agree with you. I prefer the old one, that didn't reveals the side surfaces of the build. Also if raise the high of the Pov could improve to hide it a little bit. Should be not so if terragen could manage overlay on perfect vertical surfaces Imho! Anyway fantastic Work!

I'd say the less oblique view gives a better effect, though I am amazed at the strategically laid out surfaces!

overall i think this is a better view of the Megalopolis - it does look like a city cos of the surfaces colours and lighting!!

The overhead (plan) pov is still the best (for me) but this is still magnificent.

Unglaublich, also doch eine Architektur...

It's an impressive realization... fantastic city, not far from a sci-fi scene. Congrats !
