Description
I must apologize for my forgetfulness in consistently mentioning that all my images are rendered in Cinema 4D. This drove me crazy when evaluating the software by looking through the galleries and I am doing exactly the same thing myself. The C4D renderer can often be difficult to spot right away since to me it often behaves in a very similar way to Poser. I can usually tell a vue render by looking at it – not that it is a bad thing at all for Vue renders often look spectacular – but Poser and C4D to me are harder to distinguish using regular spot and area lights. There seems to be some difference of opinion regarding the use of Poser figures in the Vue gallery vs. in the C4D gallery. I think that a year ago the Vue gallery did not have many Poser figures in it, but it seems now that more and more people are taking advantage of the built in connection to Poser and that gallery now regularly contains Poser figures. Perhaps it is the lack of such a built in solution that keeps Poser figures out of the C4D gallery. Anyhow, this image uses a single spot light casting “Area” shadows and I think this is why I find them amazing: Hard shadows are to my eye to hard for anything interior and require global illumination to work around or to make more realistic. Shadow maps, although nice, seem incapable of applying themselves to all the details of a scene like the edge of the hair or parts of the eyes and they end up looking OK but kind of flat. These ray traced “area” shadows combine the best of both worlds by bringing out all the detail but doing it in a soft natural way. The downside is the long render time but what else did my computer have to do while I was sleeping? I hope you have enjoyed this quick thought and have a wonderful day.
This is DM’s Yanique morph (RM marketplace) with Sahara’s Eva texture (RM marketplace) applied - placed into C4D with the incredible and I must say INCREDIBLE interposer plug in. Hair is Hmann’s ultimate hair with Ultimate style morph and texture (RM marketplace) The window is from DAZ the study and there is only one light in the scene.

I all your dialectical is certainly not included/understood, but I withdraw some that the users of Sight, derive advantages today that offered only cine4D at that time. This being, your portrait is successful, cqr I find this heads of very beautiful woman personally very. Its glance and its wearing of head move me. Beautiful work, and each time it is necessary to start again and to be patient (if I included/understood well). I am filled with wonder by all that you ridges.

This image is very beautiful and I like very much the work of stage setting and render. We see, in the first look, that it is not a render produced by "Vue"; but it is true that the performance "C4D" is very similar to what we can obtain with "Poser6". It is what I feel, but I do not know "C4D" and I cannot be made the other ideas. It is a very interesting work. Bravo!
