Description

One little peahen And so many peacocks. In Spring, the peacocks at the zoo were in full bloom for mating season. strutting the grounds and showing off their stuff for the peahens. One ardent and persistent male kept his tail fanned for over an hour. Photo-art created in Photoshop CS using original photos combined with painting techniques and a background (Cave) from Painted Worlds by Ferguson and Scarlett Woman Hope you enjoy. CC

Absolutely breathtaking! I love the opulence of the colours and tones you've used, Carol. This picture captures the bejewelled magnificence of what's in my opinion, the most beautiful bird and one of the most beautiful creatures to walk the Earth.

I'll never tire of the beauty of peacocks ... and your portrayal with its immaculate composition and subtle sense of drama adds to my delight. Peacocks were frequent visitors outside the window of my school [there was a small menageries next door, and the peacocks were allowed to roam] their beauty always fascinated me - but their cries! blood-curdling! The dominant peacock is an example to all males [sorry about that - I'm incorrigible!] Wonderful! Mike

That is just beautiful Carol, gorgeous birds. If I recall correctly, weren't peacocks used as "alarms" way back when in China? That rings a bell . .

Very rich and vibrant! This is a beautiful piece of work! I think this is composed very well ... the greens flow nicely against the blues and leads your eyes all over the work. Outstanding!

YOU HAVE DONE A FANTASTIC JOB HERE! IT IS ALSO MY FAVORITE BIRD AND I COLLECT PEACOCK PHOTOS, ITEMS AND FEATHERS. I TRIED TO RENDER THEM IN POSER BUT IT DIDN'T DO THEM JUSTICE. YOUR ART REALLY CAPTURES THEIR BEAUTY. MAYBE YOU CAN DESIGN SOME WINGS. I RENDER ANGELS AND I THINK MY BIGGEST WISH WOULD BE TO RENDER AN ANGEL WITH PEACOCK WINGS. OH WELL ENOUGH DREAMING. THANKS FOR THE FANTASTIC ARTWORK.

Not enough peahens is right, now you understand my dilemma! LOL! I've been single so long that I should file some sort of unemployment for it. I don't know how you create these images as you do, but it's simply breathtaking in details, color, and beauty! I adore animals very much, but unfortunately all I can have is tropical fish...and they just love it when I talk to them after work! LOL! Awesome image full of natural beauty as only you can create, Carol! It makes me want to become a zookeeper for a living! Superb work! *****
