This is why the boarder between the desert and mountains is so cool. On the otherside of that mountain is tall pine trees, 2 feet deep snow and lots of fun. You can ski or just rent a cabin and drink hot cocoa. Maybe make a snowman. It's all about choice and never having to shovel snow off your walks and dig your car out.. again... Anyway.. real cool Bryce here Evie!! Bravo!!! (I know.. it's a photo.. just a kiddin) Super photo though! Desert and snow contrast is right on! Hugs from Dave :^)

OK Evie I now need to find a way to educate my Canadian snow. Man that white stuff around here has no manners of any kind. It's all over the place. Where do I find a Snow University ? If it can be found I plan to enrole the whole Canadian Winter and send it there for a re-fresher course ASAP. Beautiful shot! Dave has cocoa he-he........I'll stick with the wine my self ! Up yours Dave! Sorry young fella meant to say bottoms up. ! he-he George

I liked Crestline and took many trips up there. Snow on Mt. Baldy was something I could view even in summer from my office window in Long Beach.

well, I know your snow has taken a vacation and went to LA before, but it was too confusing with the smog so it high tailed it back to the Sierras!!!it even came down to San Jose but heard the song "can you tell me the way to S.Jose once too often".very beautiful picture and I really want to return to Yosemite

Very beautiful, Evie. Dave and I were up there not too long ago, and it was as pretty as this pic. I think Dave and George will always be at it. There's no cure for those two, with their funnybone disease. Love them both though. Love ya...Silkylady...
