On the Rocks
On the rocks in the night, and under the rain we sit.
With the ocean's pulse pounding at our feet.
Today, remembered, ' til the last heartbeat.
Feeling free enough at this moment to feel the moment,
And forget about everything we miss.
The cloudy dark black sky -our ceiling.
The wavy dark blue sea - our floor.
Us, in the center of it all.
Not noticing water trickling down our face.
Your curls wet with shiny drops of pearls at each tip.
Our souls dance as we embrace - slowly,
At, the proper pace.
