The only thing I don't like about works like this is that they make me feel like such an ameteur! I'm constantly amazed at the capabilities of Max, and hope to have my own copy in the near future. This is fantastic modelling and great sci-fi. Magnifico!!

I agree, works like this make me feel like an amature sometimes too. But I think it is not so much the software as the attention to detail and creativity of the artist. Great work.

Yeah, it's true attention to detail is key. The only problem is trying to mimic all the imperfections in life. You'll go mad trying! Some of your textures are noticably from max. also in the barrels you can see the same stain in the same position on all the cans. Very cool though. I never have been able to do robot type things.

I love that mech! That is one tight model. The only problem is that you cannot use those stock images from 3dsmax. c'mon dog, you can't expect to look prefessional usin easily recognizable stock textures like that! 'specially on the pipes AND the sheet metal. otherwise its great

ok, ok I did use standard Max textures, and I will not do it again I promiss! In fact it is the first time I do on my own such a complex scene, so I did concentrate my efforts on the global aspect and maybe not enough on the details... but thank you anyway for constructive advices.

Very cool pic. Reminds me of somthing from Half Life. But your oil drums look like little rusty coke cans. Good work though

Hey. What's wrong with the stock textures? What are they for? Nice image. Maybe ground texture is too uniform.

I love the tryies of imperfection, that dome is very very good but the light in that... kind of mountain and that... kind of jail is not that good. Congrat. Jose Luis
