Description

I don't normally post big images like this one. I don't see the point of doing so, but the point of this image is to see what one of these might look like printed. The problem with imported images is that if a trap becomes larger than the original image, the resolution degrades. I think that I am right on the border with the large butterfly in the center. I probably wouldn't want to print larger than an 8x10. If I wanted to go larger I would have to "cartoonize" the butterflies even more. What do you think? Thanks for your thoughts Keith

I like the shadows and colors on these butterflies a lot! I think you may be right - printing at a larger size might blow the butterfly out too much. But the full size click on this is a must for anybody to see the detail properly!

Superb work, Keith. I love the overall design and sweet detail, and the coloring is beyond beautiful. Very, very nice. I'd like to see it poster-sized, but not at the expense of detail and color quality.

This table is marvellous. For your problems of edition, it should be known, that if you can done it images of 4000 X 4000 pixels to have the best returned in 1000 X 1000. If you want to publish in 2000 X 2000, for example, it is to better leave at least one 2000 X 2000 and not one 1000 X 1000. You include/understand? In addition, you can make publish by a "LABORATORY EQUIPS" starting from an image 4000 X 4000 in tif format on CD-Romanian and to make draw in the same way in a format INFERIEUR with that from the stored image. That does not withdraw any quality maintaining with the beauties that you create. Thanks for making me dream.

The smaller image looks great, but I'm afraid the larger one really is pushing that central butterfly. Difficult to know what answer to give on this, as ultimately, although a fractal can be rendered at different sizes and different dpi, it's the overall sharpness of the butterfly photo that's going to be the dictator here, and if you used Bring it In, what does that do to the image in any case I wonder? The colours are absolutely stunning and it makes fo a very beautiful picture too - maybe use it for cards.. It's worth using, that's for sure!

You don't need inifinite sharpness as long as your guests won't touch your print with their nose :-)

Beautiful image, Keith - love this stuff. Excellent colors! Can you maybe get a larger butterfly image and use Photoshop rather than BringIt/Sprite to import the images to the UF piece? If you could get/take hi-res pix then you could just manually put them in. Sure would be nice to see a big print of this. That's the trouble with some of the apps we have to work with - they give us just enough capability to make neat stuff and tantalize, but fall flat when it comes to doing something "for real" due to memory limitations. Apo/UF compo's are like that, too. Anyhow, nice'un Uncle B! :-)
