Description

I'm not sure if I classified this in the right glleries. It's a mixed media project I did about 4-5 years ago. Terrain is a real topography with some USGS terrain background. I modelled the subdivision using 2-3 different prograns (Autocad, Max, Rhino, Bryce) bought it all into bryce for modellingg, then did a lot of photoshop work. The original image is about 6000x4000 pixel, and was printed on 36"x48" boards. Afer buildng sit model, I did a number of different views of the site. Significance of it is not that it's just a picture, but that it was all modelled to exact specifications on construction plans. That's the kind of stuff I get to do for work. It just might be the reason I like spheres on water for fun. I get bored of highly technical stuff all day long, and like things that are quick and colorful for fun :) As always, thank you so much for all the nice comments and encouragement. Hugzzzz, Connie

Fascinating and the size of the end result must be impressive.

Strange that you think this is boring. I'd find it interesting, but then I don't have anything like this where I live. 5

If you're interested, there's more of 'how it was done' and some closeups on the bryce forum. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2663302&page=1#message_2770337

Wow, it is the weirdest bird I have ever seen! LOL, just kidding! It is pretty amazing, I'd say and I suppose your sense of dimension and depth is very well developed. It may be limiting your creative skills though, I hope we see more of the latter. Thanks for sharing.
