sketch I liked and wanted to model.
still working on some dynamic splines to replace the drawn in strings!

It's nice but you need to work on your lighting and textures to make this peice great, also where are the strings holding him up? good work though so keep it up!

Simple but effective and excellent model work. The strings are a bit light and might be better toned down. It would be nice to see a textured version too. I really like this character, he has a lot of potential but a better setting will be needed to show him at his best - Bravo!

The model looks really cool. Can't wait to see the '3d' strings in place (the rough sketched lines give a really good sense of what's to come). Top work mate.

Thanks guys. The concept is that each piece has it's own gravity control and the strings are really just to keep him from flying apart...so he isn't being "held up" as much as held together. Sort of like tying a string on your finger to remember something...he ties his parts together to keep from leaving them behind or losing them. The lighting on the 3d strings will (hopefully) take care of the issues with the drawn strings. I haven't completed a plan for the textures yet. I am open to suggestions. I am working on a setting and a complimentary character too, but first ...the strings... Thanks for the comments! Keep 'em comin'!
