After Ernesto's interruption, here is another texturescape from my recent visit to a furniture store. For those of you who asked what exactly you were seeing in Texturescape I, it was actually the woven surface of an end table. I enjoyed reading your comments about what you thought it looked like, especially that it resembled rows of pine nuts laid end-to-end, heheheh. ----- Thank you for your Cumulonimbus comments on my last upload, Daybreak.

Okay, you've convinced me -- sexy is in the mind of the beholder. This looks to me to be either a seriously bad case of sunburn or else a tongue which only an Ear/Nose/Throat Specialist could love! =} Still, a wonderful photo, which I am relieved to hear does not belong to someone's anatomy!

I thought it was a tongue, too. Then I wondered where the 'sexy' thing came from, and then there was the mention of Peta Wilson. Which, in that case, whatever this thing was became a whole lot sexier. P.S., to those who never watched the La Femme Nikita series. Coolest show ever. Starring Peta Wilson and the perfectly cast Roy Dupuis. The original anti-terrorism show from the guys who are now doing 24. Go buy the series; the first few seasons are out on DVD now.

Love your texture photos!!! Superb macro and excellent light and shadow effects. Okay, my turn to guess what the texture looks like: The aged skin on the muscular upper arm and forearm of a very suntanned senior citizen.

LOL Kort!! I thought it was a tougue to when i looked at it! But when i looked at it in a sparate window and deeper, i would agree with Richard at the first post.. Coat made out of leather.. and most likey it is a leather bag for the ladies and that black spot is one the plastic bottons :)) Thank you for that amzing shot tho.. and btw: Love the low POV!
