Oh Yes, Evie. Much better with the ground looking like lava, and the trees looking as if burnt. Love it. Huggs...Silkylady...

Ya much better, very good as a matter of fact you could have added a few more trees towards the front rotated them 90 degrees sunk them into the ground effect a more complete composation. No matter I like it. George !

Kind of lost that glowing Lava look but is still a super Bryce. Really fasinating image Evie. Kinda looks like a desert sunset or perhaps an alien planet scene. Very cool indeed. Amazing what a few tweaks will do to the same image, isn't it? Experimenting with textures is super fun. Just minor changes to the sky can have a dramatic effect on the ground. Anyway, Bravo my friend! Your doing great. You have the basics down pat I think. Time to move on to the finer functions. One last request with this image... A challenge if you will.. Change the ground back to a pretty water.. Blue summer sky.. Sun at high noon.. Blow off the trees... Change the mountains to a busy Glass... Yep.. Glass! NO PSP except to sign it. Curious what that would look like.. With a few test renders and artistic selection of the texture components... would look awesome and a bit surreal. Give it a try? Hugs and big thumbs up from Dave :^)

Now we are into the post beginner reds. Fire has smelted the objects and the sky glows with what was done. Does it shift? Can we see the origin? Only a wee bit. We have definitely moved on.
