Another test of sorts, aside from playing with a couple recent additions to my runtime. I've never made any use of Depth Of Field that I remember, and I figured something like this would be the perfect time to try. Problem is, I have no idea what I'm doing. So, several test renders later, I think I came up with something that looks good. What I came up with isn't nearly as visible as others, but that's a good thing, considering how some of my early DOF renders wound up looking. Then there was the lighting. More specifically, the use shadows. I did a few renders in D|S that would up being 8 or 9 hour renders, and nothing I felt was good enough to show off. So, I cut back a bit and ended up with this, after only about 2 hours. There aren't any shadows being cast on the surroundings, but I think it looks better without them. After nearly two days straight, I'm considering this done. It could be better, but I'm going to leave it be. For now.
