Gold fishes on steroids!!! Thats what they look like to me. My neighbour has a pond in their backyard and each spring they put out some ordinary gold fishes in there....and by fall i need to help them "re-collect" them...and they are usually the size of Koi by then. Really freaky. Lovely pattern on that watersurface. Have a great weekend. #:o)

Pretty awesome colors, kinda reminds me a little of when the salmon are running in the spring and fall. Usually the week or so before the season opens there are so many fish that they are being pushed out of the water by the shear volume. Then by the time the numbers have dwindled down to nothing the fishing season opens...hahaha, go figure! Very cool shot, I like it (two thumbs up from Newbieland).

it looks like chow-time for the koi.
