Very happy to have discovered Renerosity! Now between family, pets, cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, enjoying life, Second Life-- I'll have to give up sleep and work! (nasty habits anyway) LOLBIOI live in the Adirondack foothills with my family (now extended), pets, too much photographic equipment and snowshoes in a house once home to a "Titanic" survivor. I work in the environmental field when not otherwise enjoying myself. My goals are to keep doing new things and to surprise more strangers by smiling at them! You may run into me in second life as Snogeez Peregrine, There as SnoGeez, and in real life as Larry Glasheen!

At first glance I thought it was poison ivy or oak but after zooming in, it appears to be Virginia Creeper. Lovely contrasting colors and you have a good eye to spot the beauty in the view.

Thank You...your kind comment makes up for the swarm of "no-see-ums' that attacked me whilst taking the picture!

The colors and light contrasts between the sunny leaves and the darkness behind the trees make this a really gorgeous photo! I really like this so much. I do hate to see summer slipping away from us but those pretty red leaves that you found are wonderful. :-) I think it was worth those bug bites...hehe
