In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.

it makes me fear. i hate the cthulhu story! i never liked it & will never like it! ur work catchs my feeling nearly exactly. it is a good work but it makes me feel bad. because of my bad feelings u get only 2 points. but eh, nearly never ever a picture made such strong emotions to me and thats the point u should be happy with. because its easy to create good pics, but not easy to create emotions within the viewer. lars :)

Well, Cthulhu isn't exactly a warm and fuzzy sort of elder god. :) I'm glad it evokes the right effects... but sorry to make you feel bad, slaanesh.

The depth of this is wonderful in light of where R'lyeh is. I love the towers rising in the background. Great tones set the somber, surreal, and spooky mood. The eye draws you in. The tentacles made it evident at first glance that this was not "a warm and fuzzy" sort of elder god. Ia! Ia! Cthulhu Fhtagn!
