Description

WALKING ALONG THE RIVER WHEN I SAW THIS DRAGON FLY COMING TOWARDS ME ALONG THE PATH. I THOUGHT IT WOUNLD GO AROUND ME WHEN IT GOT TO ME BUT NO IT WAS ME WHO HAD TO GET OUT OF IT'S WAY, I THEN SPENT THE NEXT TEN MINUTES GOING BACKWARDS AND FORWARDS ALONG THE RIVER BANK WAITING FOR IT TO LAND SO I COULD TAKE SOME PICTURES. ANYONE WATCHING ME MUST HAVE THOUGHT I WAS MAD, ANYWAY HERE IT IS IN ALL IT'S GLORY AND BELIEVE IT IS A BIG DRAGONFLY. IT'S WORTH VIEWING FULL SIZE JUST TO SEE THE DETAILS ON THE WINGS, AND ALSO TO SEE THE SPIDER CRAWLING ALONG IT'S BOTTOM I DON'T KNOW IF IT THOUGHT IT COULD WRAP THIS MONSTER UP FOR TEA. IF ANYONE KNOWS THE PROPER NAME FOR THIS SORT OF DRANGONFLY I WOULD BE INTRESTED. THANKS FOR VIEWING/COMMENTING CHEERS BYE DARREN
