Description

Hi Everyone, Well went to visit a wild lagoon near local village. Had fun using my 100-400mm lens. Very hard to catch animals in the wild. But was lucky enough to capture a few. This is the first and was a duck i discovered hiding in the grass. Hope you like. Chris:)

Have just heard that one of Australian leading conservationalist Steve Irwin was killed today. Sad day for our native animals are he invested alot of money towards their conservation. But suppose he died loving what he loved to do. Peace be with him and his young family. Is sad for those left behind:(

A very clear and neat portrait of this Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos). It's always a pleasure to discover them hidden in the grass. This one is so cute Chris. Have a nice week. Hugs

Excellent telescopic capture of the mallard, evidently secure in the belief it's not within eyesight of either man or beast. Beautiful melange of colors/colours and nice background blur. I was stunned by the untimely death of Steve Irwin. What a loss, one of my favorite humans. My deepest condolences.
