Description
Taken outdoors at a collection of birds and reptiles. In between heavy showers the sun gave me a short burst of intense lighting so this pretty bird could pose for me.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I was using a 75 ..300mm zoom at the 75 mm end. I suppose thats why the depth of field is narrow,on the other hand a long lens is good for isolating the subject and animals and birds get nervous if you get too close. Zoom lenses are a bonus which allow me to frame subjects without moving to far ! Oh and for those who like more technical detail I shoot on film which is scanned by the lab to disc.I always use Fuji . Next year if the business works well I will consider adding a digital camera.
