I live in France, near Paris... in the Champagne's land.
After short studies of "mechanical and industrial drawing", I left school at 17 years old, in 1982.
My dream is to find a work in a graphics studio, but without any result, yet...
In 1986, this dream became reality, I was hired by a publishing firm.
In 1993, traditional graphics was totally abandonned, now, it's the computer era !
I tried some 3d software, for the pleasure, firstly at home, with
Extreme3D and StrataStudio.
My company makes video film too, it's naturally that I began the creation of 3d sequences,
with Amapi for modeling and ElectricImage for rendering.
And in 1998, it was the begining of a new adventure in professional 3d, we purchased three licenses of Maya !
My dream came true !

Unbelievable! Excellent work! You put very attention to details, in models and the enviroment, specially the illumination, i think that gives to your images that amount of realism!

Kenwas -> Thanks ! Rorsdors -> The atmosphere is a part really important for me in this project, I mean I must work more and do more tests about that, but for the moment, these renderings are near of my searches. Skalock -> Realism ? not so much finally, the mood is here to give something of past to the project. Jenay -> thanks man, you can try that too, that will make new environment for the girls of your creations;-) Chris -> h thanks to follow the whole wip... cableguy223 -> I must agree with you, the patience is really necessary, but moreover, the motivation, not always easy to dedicate regularly small time to work on the project, especially after an hard day at job... Anastasis20 -> That will come for sure, I just need some times to prepar this kind of scene. I've already do some animation tests a couple of months ago, with only 6 buildings... at the end of the week, I will have 10 pavilions done... a maybe the next week I will do a animation or few renderings of the range of 10. Excellent work lemog! Im still in school for 3D Animation/Modeling, trying for environment modeling. If I may ask a question or 2 =), Do you model all of the details into the buildings or do you use displacement/bump maps and then texture? Any recommendations on where to find good tutorials on environment/architectural modeling? There are a ton of organic modeling tutorials but not much on hard surface of this type I've found. Again brilliant work on the scene! The lighting really does set the mood of this one.

Phybercon -> thanks man... about your questions... For this kind of project with millions of polygons at final (in animation), displacement is too long to calculate (I don't have a renderfarm of hundreds procs...) then, I mix modeling details and bumps of course... that also depend of each part... no exist only one good rule. Sorry about tutorials... I don't know where exactly you can find goods for environment...
