Another sky photo courtesy of Tropical Storm Ernesto. ----- Thank you for your crocodilian comments on my last upload, Texturescapes III - Frankengator. I'd like to posthumously dedicate that photo to Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, who was killed in a diving accident on Sept. 4th. Love or hate his work, the man was a force of nature and did much to revive the popularity of wildlife shows in recent years.

AHH.. yes. My daughter, born and raised in MN, lives in D.C. now and said that is the closest she wants to get to this type of storm. NICE SHOT! :0)

Irwin will be missed, by crikey!.... his enthusiasm for life in nature was a remarkable thing..... photo feels like a nice, great, dramatic drive home to the safety of the hearth.

Kudos for your patience and cool head; I believe had I tried this shot everything would have been blurred, my vehicle flying past on the shoulder at 70mph and all... Excellent capture and postwork!
