Description

The Lady of the Lake is usually referred to by various spellings of the names Nimue or Vivienne. Nimue is thought to be related to Mneme, the shortened form of Mnemosyne, one of the nine water-nymph Muses of Roman and Greek Mythology who gave weapons, not unlike Arthur's sword, to the heroic Perseus.

In my reception of the legends Nimue and Vivienne aren't identical but that has nothing at all to do with this wonderful and magic image! I love the composition and the ffects of water and light are simply stunning! I'm deeply impressed!

outstanding image. Minimalist content, but maximum effect. Lighting really focuses the attention, and fall-off lighting takes in enough to really accentuate the scene. Well done!!
