Well...i had fun doing it anyway. It is a variation on a theme that i have explored alot and will continue to explore--why not?-- ciggy smoking ghosts emerging from a chimney---partly inspired by a John Tenniel illo for Alice In Wonderland in which a lizard emerges from a chimney and floats dreamily into the air. Years later, it is interesting to see some images that nobody commented on. Looks like I sorta took it personally back then if nobody chimed in about my works on paper carefully colored, tweezed and sharpened in Photoshop. I had just barely survived a close brush with departing here and a pal helped my get past that shock by suggesting I post art here back in 2005. This type of imagery still has all sorts of possibilities.
