This was simple work on 3DS Max rendered on Mental Ray with HDRI image processing.

Did you mean The One Ring of Sauron? If so, I must complain that The One Ring has no stone/gem in it! Just a plain ring of gold. Name it at your will, the modeling work is great. Congrats!
