Description

Hello! :) This photo was taken a couple of days before Father's Day - as a purpose of finding some nice photos to be put into a frame for my husband as a Fathers Day present from the both of us - me and our daughter, Samantha (just under one year old). Laurence - my husband - bought this cute dress at a market nearly about a year ago thinking that Samantha could wear it around that time but after a closer look we realised that it is a size 2 dress which means that Samantha would be able to wear it when she is around 1 - 2 years old. Poor Daddy - he was crushed in having to wait a while before seeing her in that dress :) So I wanted to surprise him with something and thought I'd see how she fits in that dress - however the length is a bit too short for her (not sure if it is supposed to be like a "tutu"???) and a bit wide around her chest and I thought - why not - just take a couple of pictures of her in that dress knowing that Laurence would like it since he hasn't seen her in that dress before. So Samantha and I had a wee bit of fun taking photos and dressing her up :) With this picture (and the present to Daddy) was one of the three pictures in a frame but I like this particular picture because I think she looked natural and NOT SO DARN INQUISITIVE!!!! :) Whenever I take my camera out she would forget everything else and stare at the camera ... I couldn't get any photos of her smiling or whatis - only the wide eyed look! :) So I'm pleased with this picture. I admit that my photography skill could need a bit of work but ah well :) I took this photo into Photoshop and worked around with blurring, soft light and screen filters, since I didn't use the flash for this picture and it came up quite grainy :( Hope you enjoy this photo of Samantha and feel free to leave any comments. Cheers :) Tina Oh yes - the Daddy loves his present :)

You have a very beautiful daughter and the photo is incredible. The innocence of a baby girl huh? Make the most of it!!! Cherish every moment of it, you've been warned. Father of a teenage girl here. Like Polar bears, little girls are cute when they're little but give them time...
