Description
I'll be really honest here, I only spent about 30 minutes total on this piece... I was looking to unwind with some simple texturing, so I started playing with an old chain-mail resource... Chain mail + fortune hunters... and I wanted to see how it'd look rendered, but I hate just rendering clothes... so + Aiko + Kirie + Miku hair... and I really hate rendering default poses, so I added a stock pose... which begged for a little ball of magic... so + Magic + point light = RENDER! Seriously, maybe 45 minutes, including painting the textures. But it was pretty so I spent a few minutes in post cleaning it up and: TADAA!
Coments on textures are welcome, I'm considering polishing it up a little bit and distributing as a freebie :)
EDIT: Okay, I really didn't like the original render... the more I looked at it, it really only did one thing: Show the texture... which is great, but I kept looking at that vacant expression and the almost accurate lighting... plus the nasty way the magic effect came out when translated from .png... and I decided I couldn't take it anymore, so I brought the level up to what I can live with :) Enjoy the improvements

Looks great. Sometimes you can spend hours, or even days, putting something together, then you have the quickies that look just as good. I'll have to keep my eye out for that texture - one can never have too many textures. More like not enough space. That's pretty easy to come by.
