Description
This morning I found this spider with prey in the garden of a friend of mine.
Fortunately I have had my Canon in my car boot, so I was able to capture it on foto. :o)
Hope you like it,
greetings,
Casca

Nice image. Maybe a little overexposed as the colors are a bit washed out but I know how difficult it can be to get this spider up close and in focus! The POV is nice and so is compo. Good shot.

Neatly wrapped and ready for storage:) Very nice macro!

I know how hard it is to sneak up on spiders that have prey, they usually run away. Well done on capture and presentation of your photo. And there's an obvious message to all ladybirds there:-)

Thanks for all your comments! @ Bee: I spend the most time to wait for a prey going in the net. Nearly 1,5 hours after seeing the spider. :o) This spider funnily enough didnt run away. My luck, because I am at the beginning to learn to take photos with this camara. Its not the same like a little Digicam (Exilim). Autofocus was not possible, so I have to try it with the manuell focus. I took nearly 30 photos, and this is the one I wanted to show. At least I am a beginner and I have to learn so much. Its like the motto of my life: ~ It takes the time it takes ~ :o)
