Here is an image I entered in the August Genre Challenge - Science & Technology. It is one scene, but a combination of two photos. The first is focused on the foreground and the other on the background. I blended them together in Photoshop and a slight foggy haze was added. I enhanced that haze a bit more for the gallery image and converted it into an animated GIF (so view it full size). The slightly pixelated texture the GIF format gives it builds on the theme of technology and the fact that this is a digital image. I know some people are not overly fond of animated GIFs in the photo gallery, but I think if they are done in a subtle way, they can give an image some added interest.
