Description

A friend asked me to take her wedding pics. Out of close to 300 pics, one caught my eye. It summed up the whole evening. I rarely use flash and I didn't have my Sony DSC-F717 white balance set for florisent lighting. Way too green. The automatic color balance feature in PSP-8 does a pretty good job most of the time and is usually where I start with most of my post work. I spent hours and hours on this photo, Especially on his eye lid I zoomed in and made pixel by pixel adjustments. When I think I'm getting close to being finnished I will print out an 8 X 10 print. I use an Epson R300 It was the best I could afford and I really like it. The print shows me what I need to re-work. A thought came to my mind that this would make a nice Oil Painting. I had heard about printing on canvas, so I took the digital jpg to Kinkos (a printing/ copy bussines) and had them print and stretch it on a 16 X 20 frame. It turned out really nice and I did a little touch up with real oil. Thanks for dropping by and taking a look see.
