Description
In memory of a most wonderful and dedicated man. Today I learn of the passing of the Pastor at my old church. I have only been gone from there for only 9 months, but since then I have learned of his illness just a few short months ago to his passing this morning.
My heart and soul is grieving over the loss of a man who loved God with all his being. In someways you could say he was very old school in his teaching, but he stood firm and did not waiver from his belief and teaching no matter what the world may have said or did. His humor, well, I did not always get until way later, but it had meaning and it touched your heart. He will greatly be missed by the church family, but we rejoice in that he is with our God and Father and with Jesus in heaven this day. So this is dedicated to Pastor Bob Melvin of Spotswood Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA and given in love to my church family there. May God give them peace during this time of grief and transition. And to all of you here, I pray you will have a wonderful day and thank you for taking a look.

Loss is always so painful. I'm very sorry. We do have the hope of the resurrection as Christ promissed and we know that His Father cannot lie, so soon our loved ones will be returned to us. JOHN 5:28,29. HUGS!!!
