Description
Well... the first lesson in Janet's class had us all zooming into the standard Mandelbrot... something I'd never really paid much attention to before now. The way she explains what to look for is a real eye-opener! I liked this particular portion of a zoom and, thanks to Paul DeCelle who so generously shed some pointers on how to colour such a zoomed beast... I came up with this one. Again... thank you, Paul (and Janet)! And thank you all for taking the time to have a look!
Ultra Fractal.
Hugs!
Helen :)

Wasn't that a song from my golden days? It's a great title for this fractal, the first glow of the sun on one of those warm spring days reflecting off the clouds before it peeks above the trees and dissolves the night formed mist. Or it might be the sun itself, burning softly as if it knows it's power and restrains itself so as not to disrupt the life it illuminates, rousing lovers from their sleep, gaining strength with attitude, gently warming the earth as it grows brighter.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh!! Now you have done it! This piece of unique work is so far out that I am unable to comment on it! It takes my breath away. It must be that the Sun is finally breaking through after the rain as the sky clears and the storm slides completely away.

Good luck with the course, Helen! Going where you've never gone before (free transcript from StarTrek ;-)) I never was a "Mandy-girl" either, but I liked looking for those little midgets. This has a lovely early morning light about it. Enjoy it!

I dig the way you tapered from the Yellow spectrum into almost Green, Excellent and effective. Beautiful. I wonder if Redbeard is thinking of the song by Donovan, thats what I was thinking of anyway. Outstanding work Helen Peace
