Hey could you tell something about this pic... I was wondering what's that object in the centre and the meaning of those two columns? A little bit too dark in my opinion...

Welll...first the columns. They mark a battle, where three peoples fought over an object that fell upon their planet. It did nothing, and resisted all attempts to examine and understand its purpose. They fought over it for five standard years, believing as they did that it held answers to their future, their meaning, their lives. Many died, and many more were maimed :( but in the end all three groups were ruined and starving. Almost too late they realised their very lives were being lost, so the object was taken to a lonely place none laid claim to, and setup as a memorial to their own foolishness. The object only showed the light wiThin at the one common held day of peace. At the begining of an eclipse, light starts to glow. Hope was the message that they missed, you see non venture to such a remote place any more. Thus the gift is hollow because of fear and mistrust. It's dark as it's an eclipse, but as to who sent the gift...we may never know...;)
