Description

"Creativity is allowing oneself to make mistakes, Art is knowing which ones to keep. --Scott Adams" Hey everyone. So I guess pirate influences at the box office have finally worked their magic on me. I'm not sure if the pirate ship in this image is anchored or if its leaving port. But according to my history book, pirates often left barrels by the shoreline to signal a place that would be safe to anchor. www.jumppoint.org ------ ** Technical Notes ** Premium Render with Depth of Field and utilization of blurry transmissions. Created and rendered in Bryce 5.0. Slight colorization work in Adobe Photoshop CS 2 and a few re-renders for the rocks and trees in the background. (annoying process but worked well). The models are all from the internet but as usual I cant find the creators name. (Sorry everyone!) Volumetric lighting which took about 12 hours to render this single frame. I hope you like it. Thanks for taking a look and commenting

Excellent! And achieving the blurry effect with the render options! I had just discovered that feature with Bryce this monday and Had done a few experiments with my recent cross renders, but did nothing for posting. This is great work and it's really neat to find someone else using those render options! Great stuff!
