Description
This is based on an earlier rendering which was based on an earlier version of a short story, The Third Word. I revised the story, so I thought I ought to revise the picture too. All the vehicle models are mine, though all have been used in other art. The rain is a sphere engulfing the scene; not perfect, but it sticks with my aversion (or lack of skill) with postwork.

Well it certainly looks like heavy rain to me! I shall have to give that a go in Bryce myself! Good story too, enjoyed reading that. Kinda reminds me of one of the stories from the film "The Illustrated Man", where the non-stop rain was so heavy it was deafening and also driving them all mad. Love it!

I haven't felt this wet since I lived in a tent in Korea over 50 years ago! Looks really miserable. I remember not being totally dry for almost four months. This picture definitely has that feel to it.
