Description

Believe it or not this is only a 3 piece scene made in vue5 with just a WATER PLANE, TERRAIN & SKY. The buildings are actually applied like a material or texture. I've been using bryce since 99 and I just made the switch to Vue 5 I can't beleive the quantum leap I have made in my sceneries maybe I'll post some of my bryce5 stuff for comparison. The only drawback is that vue5 tends to crash at least once every 4 to 6 hours. My video card is probably at fault.

This scene is quite tranquil and beautiful with a touch of surrealism. I like it.

I love the water, sky and foliage, but I'm not quite sure about the buildings (although I do like the evocative shape and the way in which they are arranged). There seems to be a little too much variation in terms of size. If the buildings were done with an ecosystem, perhaps the size variation could have been limited a bit more. Maybe I'm just being picky - it's certainly a lovely image.

very good atmosphere and lighting. I agree with Morgano with the to great variations in size concerning the houses. It's very interesting that you used this buildings as material or texture.

First off, wonderful scene !!! And, yes... when I first installed V5i I used to get a load of crashes. Soon after I did replace my video card and most of my problems were gone. Some very high Eco-Systems settings still can send it over the edge though... Very nice image !!! Ya gotta love V5i :O)

Not quite sure about this one. Standard sky, water, terrain, eco, structures (repeatedly copied and pasted and resized). But it is your 1st.

Great composition- even with the surreal size/positioning variations of the lakehouses: one I can see is built for a midget family. As for Vue crashes- tell me about it. I have leant to save after every move towards the completion of a complex image ..................well done.

This is absolutely incredible! It would really be worth that you make a tut of how, step by step, you composed this scene.
