Description

It's been a while since I was here...over a month to be exact. There's a reason for it too. Or more than one actually. The first one is health issues. I've done an ERCP and removed a 6mm big gallstone that blocked the bile duct + I'm on the second batch of antibiotics for an infected bile. It's no fun, but I'm slowly recovering. Next thing will be the gallbladder removal, so it's far from done. The second reason is that we're starting a portrait studio (me and Robin). We will focus on a different kind of portrait photography and give the customers an experience instead of just a regular photo session. Most of you know that I don't really look the way I do in the piccie above. I've got a million freckles, straight hair and wrinkles. But you can do wonders with makeup and some fiddling in PS. We will focus on Hollywood style portraits, it's that simple. Think Veronica Lake, Marilyn Monroe and Ava Gardner. That kind. The piccie above was taken by Robin and it was shot outdoors, which will differ a bit later on since we will work in a studio. But the concept will be the same. I believe you can make anyone look like a superstar if you have enough knowledge about hair, makeup, lighting and photography....and that's what we will be aiming for. I will be back on a more regular basis when we have everything set up and things have settled down a bit with my health and everything else. Until then I will show up whenever I can. Hope you're doing good. I miss this place and even though I don't have a lot of piccies to show you right now, there are a few on the harddrive that I have to share laters. Take care and be good :D
