A Fauve fractal! The texture "sets" the image somehow, removing the effect of depth, and yet there is a strange sense of perspective created by the shadow-like gnarls. Interesting work, I like the fierce colours and the thin outlines. There is something misleadingly nae about it.

Hmmm, I just saw some pretty canvas prints at Hobby Lobby, and the texturing on this is perfectly like the real thing! Beautiful details 'n' colors. Excellent work! (;
