Description
First: Before anyone thinks "uhh...what this...so easy and so boring..." ..., well... that's the old days, that's GEOS, one of the first OS with a GUI.
Floppybased with much disks, long to load and not much functions, but anyway...it was a wonderful thing in this times :)
I started on the C64, it was my first computer and so I had the idea to this.
I know it is not futuristic, it is NOT modern, it has NOT metal, glas, lights and all these things, but in the GEOS times that all was not importend.
I don't know how much here can remember the old days, but I hope a few are here.
Done in photoshop, with a color and style reference at my original Commodore 64 beside my pc :)
At this time it was only a idea, but don't know...maybe it will be coded, who knows.
Thanks for viewing!

I remember Geos! I remember how long it took to load and get going and how clunky it was, but it rocked at that time cause there was nothing else like it. It was a great first start for a Gui. I think Atari had one next but I can't remember it. And before Apple had the MAC they had the LISA which was GUI based! Thanks for the memory!

I remember GEOS too. I started messing about with computers around 1981. Lots of interesting things back then with all the different brands and stuff. Was more interesting watching the old TV shows from back then about computers and what they thought were the future. Thanks for taking me for a stroll through memory lane. :-)

I used to own a C64 in the 80's but not for long unfortunately...great machine...don't remember GEOS I'm afraid but I do remember the games, such as Impossible Mission, Green Beret, Mercenary and Uridium (surely the Ace of Spades of shooters at the time!) Cheers!...
