Description

Our heroine (and Claude, the mouse), aboard the cruise ship, cuts across shipping lanes to escape the dangers at the Port of Uranus. Modelled and rendered in Cinema 4d. Textures and post production with PhotoPaint. Tried to incorporate Art Deco cues into the ship designs. Wanted to capture a 40-50's vintage sci-fi style.

Beautiful scenes, beautiful ships. ...talk about the "crowded sky", there's quite a sense of immenent collision going on there.

Fantastic modelling & rendering and the postwork is awesome! My only crit is that ship that's cutting everybody off: looks like a bad driver to me :-) Besides that, very nicely done!

Wow, this is really special. Love the look and commitment to a style. The ship in the lower left with the dark reddish band around it appears to have smoke stack like details. Love it! - wisart

Cool... I could still see all this stuff happening in the same world-line as the 5th Element movie... Now if only this story could be made into an actual movie.
