The foreground one is of 1942 and the last pre-war model. It looks fairly complete. Being a two door it had some appeal to rodders. Now so many years later a collector would be it's best developer. With a 114.5 inch wheelbase and the somewhat bulky body it isn't a great drag race car. I hate to see it described as a "junker' as that could result in it's demise. Still, someone must store it and care for it and that is an expense.

I understand what you're saying. I feel that these vehicles should all be preserved as well as possible. Unfortunately, All I can do is save them via Photo's. So, that's what I do! And, "Scrappers" is simply a generic term. I don't mean to construe that these vehicles are a waste in any way... Thanks for the comment!
