Hello there!
Sooooo....what do one say in these "bios"? Hmmmm.....Im actually just typing this because im bored at work and i have finished commenting on what i intended to comment on....i suppose i could actually do some of the stuff they are paying me to do, but what would only be even more boring. LOL.
So anyhoo....my real name is Andreas Stridsberg and i live in Sweden. Ive been a member of RR since....well i have no idea. 2-3 years perhaps? And i just recently got my own print-store of my photographs up and running at my own website. So if youre financially independent and wish to contribute to MY well-being...i suggest you go buy some. LOL.
In conclusion i just wish to add this:
I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!
I have never been a part of a more friendly or more helpful community than this one. Im proud to have gotten to know so many wonderful and talented people. #:o)

I too, have been remembering this sad and horrible tradgedy today. This is a beautiful shot. I love the atmosphere. Rocky and hard, yet misty and soft. Stark and lovely. Excellent.

Beautiful shot, so eerie and haunting. It's almost impossible to get a good photo on such a foggy and overcast day, so that earns you extra cool points in my book. As a side note, from an American to a -- well actually, I don't know what country you're from -- let me warn you: don't believe everything you hear about 9/11. Our government has been exploiting the tragedy for political gain for the last 5 years and they show no signs of stopping. At this point it's almost impossible to separate the truth from propaganda so I say it's wise to be suspicious.

What a lonely and sad image this is. One of those things you expect that comes with a feeling of great sadness... (sniff)

Making an amazing work of art, out of (what could have been) a tree standing alone somewhere. Thank you for being such a thoughtful person. :)

The fog eventually lifts, the darkness disperses, the sunlight does return. In the meantime, though, the world may seem a very bleak place, indeed. I must agree to disagree with ACS-001, for while there is surely plenty of propaganda (on all sides of the issue), the facts do speak for themselves, and loudly. A willingness to obtain information from many diverse sources, as well as a capacity for critical thought is required, however. That is (seemingly) too much to ask of the multitudes of people who enjoy having their information as they have their lunch -- cooked up quick and handed over fast to be gulped down as they speed off on their way to "more important" things. Excellent, thoughtful composition and commentary, Andreas.

Indeed, somehow or other it touches us all, directly or indirectly. Whether we believe everything we hear or we don't, thousands of people died that day - that is the truth!

Somber mood effect of the solitary tree contrasted against the enveloping mist. Also, a most poignant message on this day of remembrance that will be etched in our memories forever.
